FAQ

Registration & Tickets

Simply select your preferred time slot when registering. Spaces per slot are limited – your booked time slot is also the fixed starting time for your tour.

Unfortunately, direct rebooking is not possible in the system. You can cancel your old time slot and – in case there are other time slots still available – book a new one.

Yes, you can cancel at any time. Simply click on the link “To your registration” in your confirmation email and then on “Cancel”.

No, you can simply show your confirmation digitally on your smartphone.

Unlike the registration confirmation, we do require a printed and originally signed copy of the safety instructions from all visitors before they enter the construction site. You will receive the written safety instructions via email at least one week before the event. If in doubt, please check your spam folder. If you don’t have the option to print the document, we will have copies available on the day of the event.

You can request your registration again for free at any time by contacting events@ip.ai .

If you experience any difficulties during registration, simply send an email to registrierung@events.ip.ai .

Children aged 3 and older need their own ticket, as safety regulations require them to have their own seat on the shuttle bus.

The guided tours on the IPAI CAMPUS construction site will be held exclusively in German.

On-Site & Construction Site Safety

Every visit on the Open Construction Site Day starts at IPAI SPACES, Im Zukunftspark 11/13, 74076 Heilbronn. Limited public parking is available there. Bus lines 12 and 8 (get off at “Zukunftspark Ost”) go directly to the Zukunftspark (5-minute walk). You can find the link to the timetable here. There is no parking available on the construction site itself. For safety reasons, it is not possible to travel individually to the campus on foot or by bicycle.

Since this is an active construction site, entering the premises is only possible as part of the guided tours for safety reasons. Your duration of stay on the site will therefore depend on the length of your guided tour.

For space and safety reasons, carrying large bags and backpacks (larger than A4 size) is prohibited during the tours.

We will carefully clean the paths on the construction site before the event. However, since we cannot rule out the possibility of material residue on the walkways, we recommend wearing sturdy shoes with a solid sole for the day. Any other necessary protective gear will be provided by us if needed.

Visitors are welcome to take photos and film for private purposes. The use of drones is strictly prohibited on the entire site. Media representatives require prior accreditation through the press office for any recordings.

Accessibility

Since the ground on the construction site can be uneven and spaces on the shuttle bus are limited, we recommend that you do not bring a stroller to the Open Construction Site Day.

Since we will be moving around a real construction site, unfortunately, not all areas are fully accessible.
